Owned by Chef Chiu Kok Kwang, who has more than 20 years of culinary experience. He has been working at various Chinese restaurants before venturing out on his own many years ago. You can certainly expect the dishes will be a little bit more special since the restaurant owner is an experienced chef. There are a few specialties in this restaurant.
Cabbage Chicken is their signature dish. The whole spring chicken is first stuffed with chestnuts, white fungus, red dates and wolfberries. It is then wrapped with cabbage and stewed with special gravy in a clay pot until the cabbage and chicken turn into a velvety delicacy. The other specialties include Live Lobster Porridge, Braised Bean curd with Golden Mushroom, and not forgetting the succulent seafood dishes such as Chilli Crab, Teochew Steam Red Garoupa and the exotic Black Pepper Venison Meat.
These fabulous dishes have won the hearts of residents since they were in Teck Chye Terrace and had shifted to a second outlet in Commonwealth Ave. Now, the restaurant is located at Casuarina road. Simple and cozy restaurant, the very well executed dishes are at reasonable prices and good services, it is also a great place for a family meal.
